Steryl glucosides recovered from biodiesel tank deposits are an excellent source of phytosterols
R Carlucci, SN Jäger, GR Labadie - Industrial Crops and Products, 2022
Over the biodiesel production process some minor components are produced and
being accumulated on the storage tanks where precipitate, having a negative impact
on the quality of the final product. The identity of the main component of the tank …
PDF]Use of Limonene Epoxides and Derivatives as Promising Monomers for Biobased Polymers
E Louisy, V Khodyrieva, S Olivero, V Michelet, A Mija - ChemPlusChem
( R) ‐Limonene, a renewable terpene, and its epoxidized derivatives, ie limonene
epoxides, have prompted growing attention over the last decade as building blocks
for the synthesis of biobased monomers and polymers. With the goal of replacing …

Modified thermoplastic hydrocarbon thermoplastic resins are provided, as well as methods of their manufacture and uses thereof in rubber compositions. The modified thermoplastic resins are modified by decreasing the relative quantity of the dimer, trimer, tetramer, and pentamer oligomers as compared to the corresponding unmodified thermoplastic resin polymers,
This is the third time I’ve seen this patent and I still can’t see the obviousness. What is novel and unique about it considering that hydrocarbon and terpene resin chemists do this all the time?
RUBBER VULCANIZATION PROCESSES EMPLOYING A EUTECTIC MIXTURE

The present disclosure provides insect and/or arachnid repellent compositions, and methods of use thereof. The compositions disclosed herein comprise nootkatone and one or more fragrance agents and/or non-fragrance agents effective to for repelling the insects or arachnids.
This insect repellent contains nootkatone, the chief odorant in grapefruit flavors. Its cost is sky high. I don’t see how these formulations can compete with the less costly, but effective alternatives.
