Sustainability Committee 

Mission:

To provide a forum for members to collaborate, represent, advocate and educate stakeholders on the importance of a sustainable pine chemicals industry. Stakeholders include producers, suppliers, customers, government agencies and communities.

Goals:

Establish and track long term Sustainability goals, which include:

• Developing and Maintaining appropriate association metrics

• Communicating key issues to members and appropriate third parties.

• Tracking, recommending and responding to important regulatory and/or legislation that could impact the industry.

• Establishing an advocacy approach and recommending policy to the Board of Directors for review and approval.  Regulatory Agencies and Industry/Customers; how to effect change with legislation to protect industry

• Developing and disseminating Sustainability education materials.
